5 Things You Hate

In order to establish the norms that will carry with us through the Pinnacle experience, we will use Blogger to weed out suggestions. First, leave a comment to this post listing 5 things you hate to see occur in a PLC setting. Afterwards, we will get into a group to combine those into categories we will use to make norms.

    I hate when...
    People are not receptive to change
    People have side conversations
    People shoot down your suggestions without discussion
    People do not want to collaborate
    People chase rabbits

    1. Getting started late
    2. Staying over the allotted time
    3. Cell phones ringing
    4. Not prepared
    5. Long meeting with no breaks

    I hate waiting for other people to arrive for a meeting that was scheduled or ending when it is supposed to be finished.

    I hate multiple people all trying to talk over each other.

    I hate when people are not allowing other people to share their ideas.

    I hate when its not put to a vote.

    I hate when people just want to complain about things rather than rectifying the situation or having it have no relevance to the discussion in the first place.

    I hate...

    People not staying on topic
    People not being respectful of others opinions
    People not giving an idea a chance
    People not starting or ending on time
    People not sharing or giving input, just complaining and not bring a solution
